How to Register 1. Online: Secure & safe 24/7 access to register & pay by credit card online at www.mnstreams.org 2. By mail, complete the registration form and mail it to our office at the address provided on the form. Registration forms may be reproduced. Payment must accompany your registration form. Make checks payable to "Child Care Aware". 3. By phone, call our training registration line at (877)311-2244 or (320)269-2227. Registrations by phone require payment by credit card (Visa and MasterCard only). Registration Information Pre-registration and pre-payment are required for all classes. Registration will not be accepted without payment. Make checks payable to Child Care Aware. A $25 fee will be charged for all NSF and/or returned checks. No walk-ins are allowed. Only pre-registered and pre-paid students will have space reserved for them or receive training certificates. Registration deadline is typically one week prior to the class. An additional $6.00 late fee will be charged to participants who register after this deadline. Registration is not guaranteed after this date so please register early. Assume your registration is confirmed unless otherwise notified. Child Care Aware does not issue receipts for training payments. Cancelled checks & credit card statements can be used for tax purposes. Please remember to make your own child care arrangements, as children are not allowed at classes. Cancellation and Refund Policy Classes with fewer than five participants registered one week prior to the class will be cancelled. You will be notified by phone if a class is cancelled. Registration fees are not refundable. There will be no refund if a student does not attend a class. Credit vouchers will be issued if Child Care Aware cancels the class. Vouchers can be used to pay for any class exclusively sponsored by Child Care Aware. Attach the credit voucher to your registration form when you register for another class. No partial certificates will be given. You must attend the full class to receive a certificate. Weather Related Policy Child Care Aware may cancel and reschedule a scheduled training when the weather is threatening. Registered participants will be called. Every effort will be made to reschedule the training. However, if no acceptable date can be found a credit voucher will be issued. If you are questioning the status of a class due to inclement weather, call the training registration line at (877) 311-2244 or (320) 269-2227. The voice mail message will be updated as late as one hour before the class is scheduled to begin. Transcripts/Duplicate Certificates Requests Training transcripts are available free of charge 24/7 at www.mnstreams.org via login and password. Go to your profile & click on training transcripts. Don’t know your login or password? Call the registration line at (877)311-2244 for assistance. If a duplicate certificate is needed there will be a $10.00 fee per certificate requested. |
